Terms and Conditions – ZipDrive Travels | Taxi & Cab Service

By booking or using any of our taxi or cab services, you (“customer”, “user”, “passenger”) agree to the terms outlined below. ZipDrive Travels reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

1. Booking and Confirmation

• Bookings can be made via our official website, phone, or WhatsApp.
• Once confirmed, booking details will be shared with the customer.
• If the originally booked car is not available due to unforeseen reasons (breakdown, driver issue, etc.), ZipDrive Travels will arrange an alternative vehicle of similar category without extra charge. We prioritize service continuity.

2. Service Coverage

• ZipDrive Travels provides local and outstation rides in Sedan and SUV categories.
• Services are subject to vehicle availability and area coverage.

3. Charges and Payments

• The fare includes distance-based travel charges, applicable tolls, state entry taxes, and waiting time.
• Parking charges (actuals) and driver night allowance of ₹500 per night are extra and to be paid directly by the customer during outstation trips.
• Full or partial advance may be required for long-distance or multi-day bookings.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to fuel price hikes or tax revisions.

4. Cancellation and Refund

• Local ride cancellations must be done 2 hours prior; outstation rides must be canceled at least 6 hours in advance.
• Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged up to 100% of the fare.
• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7 business days.

5. Passenger Responsibilities

• Passengers must carry valid ID proof.
• Smoking, alcohol consumption, or illegal activities inside the car are strictly prohibited.
• Any damage to the vehicle due to customer negligence will be chargeable.
• Keep the vehicle clean and treat drivers with respect.

6. Driver and Vehicle Conduct

• All drivers are background-verified and trained.
• ZipDrive Travels ensures proper vehicle condition and cleanliness.
• In the event of a vehicle breakdown, another vehicle will be dispatched as soon as possible.

7. Liability and Delays

• ZipDrive Travels is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, law enforcement activity, or other uncontrollable circumstances.
• Trip start times are estimates, not guaranteed timings.

8. Data Use and Website Disclaimer

• ZipDrive Travels may use customer data for communication, marketing, and service enhancement.
• We currently do not process online payments on our website. Any such activity will be introduced with proper notice.
• Our website is developed by an outsourced IT service provider. ZipDrive Travels is not responsible for any breach, error, or transaction conducted through third-party platforms.

9. Jurisdiction

• All legal matters will be governed under the jurisdiction of Pathankot, Punjab (India).
